Healthy Arroz Con Leche | You heard right #LatinaMama

Arroz con leche 1.JPG

Arroz Con Leche (Rice Pudding)! Deliciously satisfying and not too sweet. A perfect dessert (or snack) you can enjoy year-round.

I grew up loving this yummy mixture of tender rice, sweet milk, and cinnamon. Now I make a dairy-free version for my family using better-for-you-ingredients like; brown rice, unsweetened almond milk, and coconut palm sugar. Same great taste plus it’s healthy and that makes me happy!

We hope you enjoy this recipe and if you do, leave a comment or take a picture and tag it using #ourflipsidelife on Instagram. We’d love to see it!

Happy Holiday’s Mamas, we hope you have a wonderful time with the ones you love. I’ll look forward to sharing more healthy recipes with you in the New Year. Lots of love and good health to you and yours. Till next time. Xo Karla Salinari

The idea to create FlipBox comes from Karla’s belief that a healthy lifestyle starts at home. Encouraging your little ones to make healthy choices can be fun for you and the whole family.

When Karla’s not “flipping” recipes, or working on FlipBox, you can find her at a local park with her husband and daughter, exploring local restaurants, ice cream shops or traveling! follow her journey.
